Ms Khairunnisaa’

Appointed as Youth Development Officer in Masjid Darul Aman.

Appointed in 2024, Ms Khairunnisaa’ is passionate about Youth Work, having graduated from NTU with a Bachelors in Social Science (Sociology) with Honours. She developed an interest in serving Youths through her experience in MSF under the Child Protective Service Department. Previously, she also served in NTU Muslim Society for 3 years. With the support from the youths, she hopes to bring Al Hawariyyun to greater heights, insya Allah!

Interested to be part of a youth group? Want to contribute and give back to the society as well as forge bonds between like-minded individuals? Well you’re on the right track!

Established in the early 2000’s, Al-Hawariyyun was formed by a group of individuals who felt a sense of belonging and who saw the importance of having a youth wing inside the mosque management hierarchy.

Al-Hawariyyun was derived from the group of loyal supporters to the Prophet Isa A.S. The name came from the Arabic root word ‘Hawariy’ which meant loyal supporters. In light of this name, it is intended that we, the youth group Al-Hawariyyun would be loyal and great supporters of not only the mosque in its activities, however also be the khalifah in our community and being agents of change for a better and developed ummah ready for any challenges and hardships.
